On Friday November 8th, 2024, the Cornwall Wildcats Football Club’s application to field a 19U team in the Ontario Women’s Football League (OWFL) was successfully accepted. This three year old league encompasses 22 teams across the province.
The OWFL operates a six game regular season, with the first game being played May 24th, 2025.
Registration opens next week and tryouts/practices begin in January 2025. Players born in 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009 are welcome to register.
We are pleased to welcome long time Wildcats coach, and ESC La Citadelle principal, Dan Legros as the first head coach of the 19U Wildcats OWFL squad.
