SPRING FLAG FOOTBALL

APRIL – MAY – JUNE 2021

We welcome all athletes to Wildcats Flag Football. We follow all Covid-19 protocols. Registration includes flags, jersey and shorts. No football experience required.

WHEN: One practice a week and games on Sunday’s
WHERE: Joe St Denis Field
HOW MUCH: $160 + ($35 Ontario Football Insurance. Paid once a year)
WHO: Athletes 8 – 18 years old

Seaway Valley Spring House League

 NOT OFFERED IN 2021 DUE TO COVID-19

This league includes Cornwall Minor Football Association and Glengarry Gaels (Alexandria). Most Wildcats home games are played at Joe St. Denis Field. There are now 220 athletes that participate in spring football in Cornwall, and that number rises to almost 300 kids with the Gaels included.

Ontario Football Conference (OFC VARSITY)

 

The OFC season takes place during the spring/summer and is a highly competitive, Ontario-wide, travelling team. The team is made up of 16-19 year old athletes from across Eastern Ontario and Quebec. This is a top-tier amateur football league in Ontario, and Canadian universities heavily scout/recruit the players. Cornwall Wildcats has been playing summer varsity football since 2010. National Capital Amateur Football Association (NCAFA)

 

NCAFA takes place during the fall season and is the competitive league for the Ottawa region. NCAFA has been the leader for tackle football in the Ottawa area since 1955. CMFA fields one team at each level:

 

  • Tyke:               (8-9 years of age)
  • Mosquito        (10-11 years of age)
  • Pee Wee          (12-13 years of age)
  • Bantam           (14-15 years of age)
