U18’S ARE PLAYOFF BOUND

With the July 1st victory against the Durham Dolphins (32-11), the U18 Wildcats will now finish the 2023 OSFL season in first place in the Eastern Division. Our Wildcats are 5-0 in the regular season, with one game remaining. The Wildcats will finish off the 2023 regular season on the road against the 1-4 Oshawa Hawkeyes.

Yesterdays victory to decide first place was very much a team affair, all three sides of the ball were clicking. Suffocating defence paired with timely scoring offence made life challenging for the Dolphins. The accurate leg of Wildcats kicker Zachary Aubin was on display all game, giving a boost to Wildcats special teams units. This Wildcats team now has not lost a game since May 20th, when they lost to Burlington Stampeders 25-20 during the preliminary (exhibition) games.

By finishing first place the U18’s secure home field advantage for the first two rounds of the AAA playoffs. That means the Wildcats will host the fourth place team from the Western Conference. The OSFL AAA quarter-finals will be held on Saturday July 22nd at Joe St Denis @ 4pm.
