Our U18 OSFL squad has begun their indoor practices. Fifth year head coach Alexandre Labonte is back leading the team. He also welcomes back both coordinators. Scott Westlake returns as the offensive coordinator. Phil Roberts is also back to lead the Wildcats defence. Continuity at the coordinator positions has been strong these past few seasons.
Registrations have been strong and the team has begun the year with four practices in the month of January, ending with the testing combine on January 31st. February is always a month off, with “training camp” beginning in March. This year, over 80 athletes will tryout of the 2026 team.
In 2025, the U18 Wildcats finished the season 4-3 (we now play a 7 game regular season). Finishing in 4th place in the Eastern Division of the OSFL. This was the 5th season in a row that the Wildcats finish with a +.500 record in the Ontario Summer Football League.
The future is bright with many top players returning for this season. The regional flavour of our U18’s continues with players signing from Akwesasne, Western Quebec, Ottawa, Brockville and all points in-btwn.
