TWO WILDCATS TO PLAY IN CJFL NATIONAL SEMI-FINALS

CJFL PLAYOFFS
This weekend is the national semi-finals for the Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL). This national league features the top 18-22 year olds not attending universities. 
Two former Wildcats starts are playing in the national semi-final this weekend. Colby Delves & Brody Fairbairn.

Colby Delves
He is defensive end for the Okanagan Sun (Kelowna), they play in the British Columbia Football Conference (BCFC). Their 10-0 regular season will be put to the test on Sunday afternoon as they take on the Regina Thunder in the west national semi-final. Colby was also part of the U20 Team Canada squad that won the world championships this summer in Edmonton. He finished his Cornwall Wildcats career in July with our U18 OSFL team. He won a NCAFA “A” Cup with our U10 tykes in 2015. He is a graduate of St Joseph’s Catholic Secondary School. 

Brody Fairbairn
He is the starting quarterback for the London Beefeaters, they play in the Ontario Football Conference (OFC). Their 6-2 regular season record will be put to the test 7pm Saturday as they take on the St Clair Saints (Windsor) in the east national semi-final. Brody was a long time NCAFA player and finished his career with our U18 program in 2019. He is a graduate of St Joseph’s Catholic Secondary School. 

The winner of these two games will play in the CJFL national final (Canadian Bowl) on Saturday November 9th, 2024. The game will be played in Ontario.
