What a Sunday that was! Exciting games and athletes flying around the field!!
U14’s lost a heartbreaker to the Cumberland Panthers 32-16. Amazing season for this group of athletes, and a season to be proud of. 7-1 in the regular season and 2-1 in the playoffs. We wish a couple of our injured U14 athletes that left the game for the hospital a speedy recovery.
Our U16 squad made history, by going undefeated (11-0) and winning our first ever NCAFA “A” Cup at U16 bantam. We beat Myers Riders 13-10 in a nailbiter! The most amazing statistic for that team is that they gave up ONLY 3 defensive touchdowns all season.
CHANGE OF NIGHT – BANQUET & AWARDS
With the rain coming on Wednesday. We are changing the banquet to Thursday November 6th.
We also need some parents to bring desserts. We will be feeding the athletes, but we will be looking for some help with the sweets!
EQUIPMENT
If you still have any gear, please make sure it comes back at the banquet. We need it all back to wash it before the water is turned off in the portables.
