Our Wildcats took to the road in week 2 to take on the Kingston Grenadiers at Queen’s University. A rainy night saw our U18’s drop a lopsided score 44-0, they fall to 1 . The Wildcats seemingly could do no right as the Wildcats offence couldn’t get going and the defence couldn’t stop the Grenadiers offence.
The Wildcats offence was led by running back #7 Hunter Holmes who rushed for 52 yards on 14 carries.
The Wildcats defence was busy all night and was led by linebackers #44 Lucas McGuire with 5.5 tackles, and #33 Eddie Jaquemet with 3.5 tackles.
Our Wildcats now fall to 1-1 on the season. Next up the U18’s are on the road to take on Myers Riders (1-1) on Saturday May 30th. Kick off is 5:30pm at Gee Gee Field, 200 Lees Avenue in Ottawa.
