OSFL preseason rankings were released yesterday.
As the new OSFL season fast approaches, coaches across Ontario are putting the final touches on their rosters for week 1. TYSN has begun ranking the OSFL squads in the pre-season.
As for our Cornwall Wildcats, they are ranked in eighth out of 10 teams. In 2022, the Wildcats had three win & three lose regular season. They hope to build on that.
According to the OSFL, the Essex Ravens held a 5-0-1 record and ranked first overall. The London Junior Mustangs are #2 and the Cumberland Panthers are in the #3 spot. It’s difficult to say where everyone will finish at the end of the season due to major injuries and or a jump in talent level. Fans of the Cornwall Wildcats hope to have a better outcome this season.
Game one will be on Saturday, May 20th. They will be on the road against the Burlington Stampeders. Game time is 5:30pm at Nelson High School.
