Our U18 Ontario Summer Football League (OSFL) team is looking for a 2023 Summer Intern to help with communications, social media & website responsibilities. This is a volunteer position.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE
- Attend U18 OSFL practices & games (home/away)
- Assist with production of game highlights, post-game interviews & other game day content
- Contribute content for website and social media posts (Instagram & Facebook)
- Prepare weekly rosters for scouts, league & media
- Promote Wildcats sponsors on social media
- Communicate with local media outlets about U18 OSFL Wildcats Football
- Liaise with “YourTV Cornwall” crew during televised home games
- Other duties as required and agreed upon
COMPETENCIES
- An interest in studying communications, media, journalism, public relations or related field
- Understanding of and familiar with social media
- Understanding of the sport of football
- Proficient with software & technology
- ability to multitask, work independently with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- ability to meet deadlines
- This position involves evenings & weekends
